I got new art supplies!

i probably spent way too much but i got a pack of 48 pastel pencils (plus 12 extra whites) and a bunch of paper. i was running out of both 9and i only bought them about a month ago) so i am SO happy. I might start trying to sell my portraits but who knows who will buy them. anyway, i'm off to draw.

I am doing a little experiment on what people think is manga and what is western. Like---if something has big eyes, does it make it anime? Or is it the face and bodies? Can people tell them apart these days?

I don't really know anything on this topic. I do think manga has other stylistic/procedural differences besides big eyes, but that's really all I have to say about it.
